Liberals salivate at the thought of free public transportation, perhaps because they see waste in everyone driving their own cars. Often on college campuses they institute a free bike service where students can borrow bikes for free to ride around the campus.
When this happened in a city (D.C.), Reason claims it leads to only waste and a transfer of wealth to the more affluent. See Reason.TV below.
