Final Class Grades for AGEC 1114

Viewing Your Final Grades

All your grades have been entered, including your final exam grade in D2L and your letter grade for the class in SIS.

On D2L you should be able to find all your grades for the class, including the final exam score, which does take into account the Partial Plan for Life and the data entry has been double-checked.

Checking Your Grade

Then, you may use this Excel worksheet, where you can enter all your grades and it will tell you your final numerical score. Just follow the directions on the spreadsheet, it's easier to use than the one we were using.

The translation of numerical to letter grades were as followed. All grades were rounded, such that a 89.50 becomes a 90 (for an A) and an 89.49 becomes an 89 and remains a B. The average grades were rather high, such that the average GPA was a 2.8. That is high for this type of class, so congratulations.

Numerical Grade Letter Grade
90 or greater A
80-89 B
70-79 C
50-69 D
<50 F

A few people were just below the threshold of a higher letter grade and did poor on the paper, but your brief write-up on what you did wrong convinced me to move you to that higher letter grade.

Last remarks

The only thing left for me to do is to double-check the entry of the letter grades into SIS, which I will do tomorrow. I double-check everything, and this is the last thing to check.

If anyone has a question or wants to check something, please feel free to email me. Anyone is welcome to view their final, if they like.
